Sittin' out in the summer watching all the girls run on by heading to the cool hang out without me I don't mind being lonesome cause I'm never alone that long wave to you cross the river and my heart skips a beat It's the way you look at me We've never met, well not really I only see you across that stream sometimes I think your imagined but I hope You're story's built in my memory a perfect gentleman you would be holding doors, showing me pretty things to see It's the way you look at me I know that we may never get across that river to shake hands but at least I have your smile to get me through the day The sun is finally setting and a fall wind is coming in I guess I'll see you next summer with a grin It's the way you look at me

Wonder 03:16
As the storm rolls in I look upon your face And I wish that I could replace the change in your heart cause the rain fall won’t stop my dry eyes and the noon sky is passing us by It’s a wonder, a wonder. You’re a wonder, a wonder. A wave goodbye won’t change anything, You turn and sigh, but minds are made up to hurt us and drive through the whole in your head. I can’t believe I’m the bearer of bad news. It’s a wonder, a wonder. You’re a wonder, a wonder. If I turn back on my word, I’d hate the sight of You know this would be better than gluing the pieces back, watching it crumble, and wasting our time on nothing. It’s a wonder, a wonder. You’re a wonder, a wonder.

Sleepy Song 02:03
Wake up every morning wondering if I'm in the right holding on to dreaming bracing for a lonely night it's not you, it's me, this time is of the essence waiting is not what you advise but I could only imagine what could be waiting down the line it's not you, it's me I could take it all, and stay waiting for that perfect day it's not you, it's me, this time

Horror Love 03:39
Freddy, I know you, dreaming but sometimes, you're just too good with your knives a flame, scratching out my name you know, I'll be scared of you still Michael, oh how you stalk me and sometimes, I think you're there with your mask, your gait, the way you hold me tight you know, I'll be scared of you still And oh, my nightmares are a plenty but I'll keep on coming back to you your love for killing is just what we need Jason, your ghost's a plenty although, your knife is in my heart with your mother's love, the lake behind your mug you know, I'll be scared of you still
5.
I know, you know, we both know, that we’d love to be in the sun, the shade, the ocean, but it’s ten degrees, and I’m freezin’. Please help me get back to the place I’d like to be Please help me get back to the place I need to be It’s so extraneous this winter glow when I would, I would rather fry, not look like a ghost with the most. Please help me get back to the place I’d like to be Please help me get back to the place I need to be.

Two Paths 02:02
I don't know where I'm going, You see the birds, they're flying south, and you don't even know why. All the words before you, and they seem so far away. Two paths and secret laughs, torn by autographs and your smile. See through, believe in you, I wish I could find my way back home. You're looking up at my face, all the while my smile's there, and you don't even know why. It'd be nice for a change, please forgive this absentee.
7.
Well I'm late to the show. Standing there, you're all alone. And I don't know why you would come. I don't know why you would come. We don't talk, just look away. But our eyes can't help but stray. And I don't know why you would come. I don't know why you would come. Like the sunset on the moon, I love everything about you. With eyes that smolder through and through. It can't be true. Take my hand and hold it close. Cause I'll float right past our ghosts. And I don't know why you would come. I don't know why you would come. And our lips look for a sign. But it's hard to restrain a smile. And I don't know why you would come. I don't know why you would come.

I never know what to say, it just seems like another day to put my dreams out of my mind, and show them off without caring too much. In a way, it's better this way, to be tortured for all eternity. Wear a mask of happy teeth, says the Disturbed Intellectual. The coffee shops are far to crowded, but how else will I maintain my prowess, without the angsty girls a gawking. I need to act like I don't notice. My torn and tattered shoes are walking. Unconscious I go about my business, to read and write and be misunderstood. The inner pain is really a comfort.
9.
Weather the storm, weather the storm, your heart is open. Weather the flame, weather the flame, your mind is closed. To want, to want, I do. To love, to love, it's you. Weather the storm, weather the storm, your heart is broken. Weather the flame, weather the flame, it's my undoing. To want, to want, I do. To love, to love, it's you.

Simply finding another heart isn't work. It's the soul that makes fonder, the soul that makes us stronger. And when you need to grasp what you have set yourself to do. find a soul that makes you stronger, a soul that makes you fonder of you. So love yourself, yes love yourself, and you will find a soul that loves you too. With a wonder you never know what to do, but the soul will lead you over, the soul will bring you closer to truth. And when there's strife and crude, the bottom's calling out for you. Find the souls that make you stronger, the souls that make you fonder of you. So love yourself, yes love yourself, and you will find a soul that loves you too.

2049 03:19
I always wonder were you are, whenever we're apart are you beyond the states of Rome, or running through the park you're never very far, but far enough to make me wish for one more set of arms to wrap you up and hold you til the sun burns out If I would sail the great beyond, I know you'd follow suit in your new car, into the pond, but why take the route to follow through and through, when we could hold the record for the longest hug in space or enter a three legged race, and come in last place I'm always happy when I'm (I'm always happy when I'm) I'm always happy when I'm (I'm always happy when I'm) I'm always happy when I see your lovely face I'm always happy when I'm, when I'm with you. Imagine laughing to the moon, and turning right around to find we've circled all but one, listing in the sky I've never been so high, and still I wonder where we'll be in 2049 I couldn't care less as long as we're side by side.

Out There 03:36
Out there, in suburbia there lives a wild, a wild man and a lover, and maybe their child. Don't you know they've got to go, further than our minds pushing for a better home, one with out denial Out there, in the forest, the animals wait for their share of remorse, it's better than hate Don't you know they've got to go, further than our minds pushing for a better home, one with out denial And wouldn't it say that if we stay the same then the world will change without us but if we pull apart knowing nothing of heart then the world won't move on without us. And if we say that if we stay the same then the world will change without us but if we pull apart knowing nothing of heart then the world won't move on without us. Don't you know they've got to go, further than our minds pushing for a better home, one with out denial

It's a long long way down, and if you reach you'll touch the clouds but don't hesitate, or you'll tumble to the ground, don't hesitate, you'll be found And if you look for a sign, you'll be the first one in line, so don't hesitate, you'll be found. Walking alone only gets you so far, take my hand, and we will be transported over the stars, with you I will never fear anything, hold me closer It's a long long way down, and if you reach you'll touch the clouds, or so it seems, while you struggle to be found, or so it seems, keep your ground. Walking alone only gets you so far, take my hand, and we will be transported over the stars, with you I will never fear anything, hold me closer. And after we climb to the top of this mountain, we'll soar, to the ends of Earth, through the universe, but now we can pull each other from the depths, please just hold me closer Hold me closer.

BF&E 03:12
Right about now, I'm feeling like a clown, dancing and a juggling, I hope I keep it all up in the air And don't let it fall down, don't fall down, let you down. Right about now, I can't hear a sound, Talking in one ear and out the other, it all goes into the air And I never know where it goes, you don't know, no one knows I notice everything, best friends and enemies, I know, let go, I notice everything.

Light 05:13
On the way into town I turn by another street I see the car that you once drove living with strangers and I wondered how far away you are After all my chores were through, I took another drive just to see the old car parked alone, shaded by a fir and I wondered how far away you are how I wondered how you could come back without your car It didn't look like you'd make it It didn't look like you could but you're out there, somewhere you're out there, lighting up the world For a year or two I've kept my promise to visit that old car, as long as, I knew where it was living but it's left me, without warning it's left, and I'm still mourning you It didn't look like you'd make it It didn't look like you could but you're out there, somewhere you're out there, lighting up the world you're out there, somewhere you're out there, lighting up the world.

Road Trip 04:03
For my sanity, keep running past the breaking point of the injury and the underneath, where we could get lost, altered for all eternity it's not like you to stop, to check the tires of our car with the rubber unfolding half the time after roads and roads of hills, why don't we just catch a line it's not like you to stop, with so much time And the waiting wind, won't care too much if I just left two dollars for him Cause we know what's best, offer what's left to the one who can't walk beyond the map it's not like you to stop, to check the tires of our car with the rubber unfolding half the time after roads and roads of hills, why don't we just catch a line it's not like you to stop, with so much time Watching half borrowed skates, burn the way through the end of our misgivings And the undertow breaks, as the swell brings us closer to dying, but If we take on our place, we'll take on our lies it's not like you to stop, to check the tires of our car with the rubber unfolding half the time after roads and roads of hills, why don't we just catch a line it's not like you to stop, with so much time on the end of the earth, we take our course, and we all fall down
17.
I'll Wait 03:15
I'll wait and I'll wait and I I'll wait and I'll wait and I I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know we'll be fine. I'll wait and I'll wait and I I'll wait and I'll wait and I I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know we'll be fine. And when the wind begins to break, The company we keep won't be honest with our take And what is worse than leaving empty handed from the lake when knowing we could have everything on the plate But that's just like us to say "That's OK, we'll be fine." I'll wait and I'll wait and I I'll wait and I'll wait and I I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know, when you change your mind I know we'll be fine.

Words 02:48
The party, dull, without a trace, of heaven, hell, or in between no soul to be found near. A dusty figure steps between the slats of wooden poles and beams a rugged shadow leers And they roll, roll through their great wide land, As the sun sets slow, and their hands clap, their shoes tap, and all begin the words to their last song A mandolin around his neck, and a guitar hung from his back taking the road ahead. Two brothers pluck him from a place, that's humble, underneath the space, of wild warrior's nests. And they roll, roll through their great wide land, as the sun sets slow and their hands clap, their shoes tap, and all begin the words to their last song.

Coward 03:05
I'm afraid, and I'm a coward, and I'd bet money that you'd watch me fail. If it weren't for the hour drawing nearer to the end you'd have me still. But just like the end of every story book, someone has to die. And after the funeral, we'll all come together and be smiles. I'm afraid, and I'm a coward, and I'd bet money that you'd watch me fail. If it weren't for the hour drawing nearer to the end you'd have me still. And after all the wonders of this world I never thought I'd see Another man in my future but I guess that's how it has to be. I'm afraid, and I'm a coward, and I'd bet money that you'd watch me fail. If it weren't for the hour drawing nearer to the end you'd have me still. Cause when I know that you are here and I am there and we are never right The only thing that's holding is the binding of the book that's kept us tight. I'm afraid, and I'm a coward, and I'd bet money that you'd watch me fail. If it weren't for the hour drawing nearer to the end you'd have me still. Cause even though I'd love you, and I'd love you to the end of time, I wouldn't seem to get over that little speckle in my mind. I'm afraid, and I'm a coward, and I'd bet money that you'd watch me fail.
20.
The cars drive by, and I wait a little longer for you to smile while I joke about the weather And I arrive, at conclusions far beyond, hanging on to what transpired, under sheets last night. But I find, I hide, it's not better if we try, I find, I hide, the truth inside. For what it's worth, you could be another dandy, holding on to wilting flowers in the stairway After hours, purging books of rotten paper in the sun, to show me how to live with out clutter. But I find, I hide, it's not better if we try, I find, I hide, the truth inside. I find, I hide, it's not better if we try, I find, I hide, the truth inside.

about

"I Wonder If This Is How Dogs Feel" is a sentiment that captured us by its core despair. When we leave our loved ones, furry or human, we have a longing we cannot ignore. The album chronicles feelings, both good and bad, that make us whole as beings. This album is also a year in review of the band itself. From their birth until their first year, a growth in production, songwriting, and performance.
